# Cold Calling Services in Ireland

## Is B2B cold calling legal in Ireland?

Yes, with conditions. Marketing calls to business landlines are allowed unless the number is on the National Directory Database opt-out register, but marketing calls to mobiles need the subscriber's consent first.

## Calling rules
- Ireland's ePrivacy Regulations don't treat calls to businesses differently from calls to individuals. What matters is whether the number is a landline or a mobile.
- Landlines: marketing calls are allowed unless the number is on the National Directory Database (NDD) opt-out register, or the business has told you not to call. We check landline numbers against the NDD first.
- Mobiles: unsolicited marketing calls to a mobile need the subscriber's consent beforehand. We call landlines and switchboards, and only call mobiles where you have that consent.
- GDPR applies to named contacts, and anyone who asks not to be called again is never called again.

## Who makes your calls

Ireland shares the UK's time zone, but its calling rules are different. The big one: Irish law treats calls to a business the same as calls to a person, and what changes the rules is whether you're calling a landline or a mobile.

South Africa covers the Irish business day as a normal day shift, and India covers it as an afternoon shift at a lower price.

- **Callers in South Africa** (We Call for You $2,899/month, Hire a Caller $2,199/month): One or two hours ahead of Dublin, so your caller works a normal day. Many speak English as a first language.
- **Callers in India** (We Call for You $2,199/month, Hire a Caller $1,499/month): Our lowest price. An Irish business day is an afternoon shift in India.
- **Callers in the Philippines** (We Call for You $2,499/month, Hire a Caller $1,799/month): Works as an evening shift in Manila.

## Hours and language

## FAQs

### Can you call Irish mobile numbers?

Only where you have the subscriber's consent. Irish law needs prior consent for marketing calls to mobiles, even business mobiles, so we focus on landlines and switchboards.
