# Cold Calling Services in Australia

## Is B2B cold calling legal in Australia?

Yes. Business numbers can't be registered on the Do Not Call Register, but telemarketing calls still have to follow the Industry Standard's rules on calling hours, identifying yourself and showing caller ID.

## Calling rules
- Business numbers can't be added to the Do Not Call Register; numbers used mainly for personal reasons can. When a contact may be on a personal mobile, we check the number against the register first.
- The Telemarketing and Research Calls Industry Standard sets calling hours: weekdays 9am to 8pm, Saturdays 9am to 5pm, and no calls on Sundays or national public holidays. Our shifts are weekdays, 9am to 5pm your time.
- The Standard also says callers must say who they are and who they're calling for, end the call when asked, and show a caller ID number. We follow it on every call.
- Anyone who asks not to be called again is never called again.

## Who makes your calls

Australia is a natural fit for Filipino callers: Manila is two or three hours behind Sydney and on the same time as Perth, so your caller works a normal day shift.

Australia also has some of the clearest telemarketing rules in the world, with set calling hours. Our weekday shifts sit well inside them.

- **Callers in the Philippines** (We Call for You $2,499/month, Hire a Caller $1,799/month): Two or three hours behind Sydney and level with Perth, so it's a normal day shift.
- **Callers in India** (We Call for You $2,199/month, Hire a Caller $1,499/month): Our lowest price, on an early-morning or night shift.

## Hours and language

Working week: Monday to Friday. Your caller works 9am to 5pm in Australia.

Language: English.

## FAQs

### Can my caller cover both Sydney and Perth?

Yes. A Filipino caller can start on Sydney's morning and finish on Perth's afternoon, since Perth is on the same time as Manila. Tell us how your list splits and we'll set the hours to match.
